I stand beneath the silent sky,
Watching the hours wander by.
The stars have come, the moon has gone,
Yet still I wait, alone till dawn.

Your footsteps never touch my door,
Though I have heard them in dreams before.
The wind still calls your distant name,
But every night feels just the same.

My heart remains where you once stayed,
In memories time cannot fade.
I keep a light for you above,
A fragile flame of endless love.

Perhaps you’ll come, perhaps you won’t,
Perhaps you’ve forgotten me alone.
But here I stay, through pain and blue,
Still waiting here…
For only you.
